Blackmagic Design today announced the all new Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ 8/16, specifically designed to support 8mm HD and 16mm Ultra HD film scanning. The scanner features a completely new optical assembly that allows customers to get higher resolution image scanning of these smaller formats, perfect for scanning archived, historical footage. This new model retains the same capstan drives, real time HDR film scanning and includes 8mm and 16mm film gates. The new Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ 8/16 is available immediately from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for US$32,045.

Blackmagic Design Announces Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Handle and Pro Grip

Blackmagic Design today announced Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Handle and Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Grip, two new accessories that transform Blackmagic PYXIS into a flexible run and gun camera for broadcast and documentary work. Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Handle includes an integrated HD OLED viewfinder, stereo microphone, record start/stop and custom function buttons. The Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Grip is a side grip for video production and includes a zoom rocker and hand strap for secure and comfortable shooting. Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Handle and Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Grip will be available in July from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide. The Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Handle will be priced at US$895 and the Blackmagic PYXIS Pro Grip at US$119.

Blackmagic Design Announces New ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2

Blackmagic Design today announced ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2, an advanced second generation ATEM Mini live production switcher. This new model features an expanded professional style control panel, 8 HDMI inputs, 3 HDMI outputs, multi-view, built in streaming engine, CFexpress and Thunderbolt for record/playback. There is also 10G Ethernet for fast network storage access, XLR audio inputs, USB webcam, DVE, chroma key, media player and ISO recording of all 8 video inputs. ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 will be available in July from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for US$1,995.

Blackmagic Design Announces New Blackmagic 2110 IP UpDownCross 12G

Blackmagic Design today announced Blackmagic 2110 IP UpDownCross 12G, a new standards converter for live production and broadcast that lets customers convert between any SD, HD or Ultra HD video format via 12G-SDI, HDMI and SMPTE-2110 IP video connections. This new converter has a rack mount design with a front panel LCD for video and audio monitoring plus menus. Blackmagic 2110 IP UpDownCross 12G will be available in June from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for US$545.

Blackmagic Design Announces New Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G

Blackmagic Design today announced two new 2110 IP converter models, Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G and Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G-10. These new models are designed to allow the latest OLED TV to be used for color accurate monitoring, such as in color grading and edit suites. They will convert 2110 IP video or 12G-SDI video to HDMI in all SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards and include XLR analog outputs for driving powered speakers for audio monitoring. The converters include variable gain and delay for perfect AV sync and 3D LUTs for color calibrating displays. Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G models will be available in June from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide from US$495.
